What does it say about a big box company and manufacturer, when the company chooses to outsource its support services to a third-party? Is it necessarily a slap in the face to its customers? Or are they just being practical?
In this business, we can’t jump to conclusions.
It’s easy to jump to all kinds of conclusions. Especially in many Anglo-Saxon economies such as the United States and Europe, you find “outsourcing” to be such a loaded term. It quickly leads folks to think, “Oh, this company doesn’t care about this particular function, so they’re outsourcing it, just to make sure that it gets done, regardless of the quality of the process.”
That just isn’t the case, and when you take a minute to observe what we outsource ourselves, on a personal basis, you’d realize that referring out to a third party—this alone—doesn’t imply that you’re merely trying to “buy a solution.”
Instead, when you do this, you’re looking for a solution; it’s still a solution that you’re after—ultimately.
One Solution at a Time
At Adachi Computech Solutions, we believe in solving problems on a case by case basis. Yes, we’ve recognized common threads through experience after experience with scores of highly satisfied customers and clients, but in the end, each problem, each scenario is as unique as thumbprint. As we honor that by not jumping to conclusions when confronted with some of the most routine things.
We won’t name names, but some of the trendier outfits out there, in this market (they’re aligned with a big box retailer, a “double-B”—think of a “squad”) tend to do this. “Oh, your PC won’t boot? You must have a busted C drive, and all that requires is a new hard drive—which, by the way, we can sell you, since we’re wholly owned by a consumer electronics retailer.”
First off, none of our specialists are so arrogant. Second: we believe in developing relationships with our clients and customers. Because the bulk of our business is based on recurring revenue, we know that if we invest the time now to cultivate a great relationship with you, you’ll continue to pay us in the future, to continue to support you and your business.
